Principle Business Leaders Institute
Februrary's big event saw our brothers going to the Principled Business Leaders Institute in Chicago. In addition to being able to send a large number of brothers to attend the event, the Delta chapter also won the Outstanding Chapter Performance award!
Fit for Business
The brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi hosted “Fit for Business,” their second charity 5k race, as this semester’s corporate sponsorship event. Runners were a mix of Alpha Kappa Psi brothers, Alpha Kappa Psi alumni, Pitt business students, as well as local company sponsors. Between donations and fundraising by the brotherhood, we raised over $1,200 this year for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
Highmark Caring Place
Alpha Kappa Psi teamed up with the Highmark Caring Place to promote Children's Grief Awareness day. We wanted to help make sure that grieving children and their families were supported on this day. We collected donations for the foundation and spread awareness throughout Pitt Business.
